"Enfants supportant une vasque" is a sculpture located in the Luxembourg Garden in Paris. The sculpture depicts two children holding up a large basin or bowl, perhaps symbolizing the nourishing and sustaining properties of water. The work is believed to be created by an unknown artist and its exact date of creation is also unknown. "Enfants supportant une vasque" was produced in marble, and was originally located in the village of Chantilly, but it was purchased by the French Senate around 1802


This group, made up of children supporting a basin, was purchased from Citizen Ovin by the Senatein Messidor Year X.
